VivAlign™ scanner is a GDV technology that utilizes Young Living essential oils in the software. We give thanks to Dr. Sabina DeVita, a GDV and YL Essential Oils consultant, who initiated and introduced the GDV technology to D. Gary Young and his wife Mary Young.
The late, D. Gary Young, who passed from this earthly plane in May of 2018, was the Founder of Young Living Essential Oils Company and became known as the modern day father of aromatherapy. He was a dedicated natural health and freedom advocate, herbalist and practitioner with years of clinical practice with thousands of patients. His visionary pursuits in herbs and essential oils led him to research, source, travel, investigate, study, farm and develop the largest essential oil company in the world, Young Living. He grew his own herbs and developed his own modern day way of harvesting, chemical-free distilling and packaging... and his farms grew in numbers world-wide.
Today, Young Living farms are recognized for their 'seed to seal' distinction with over 14 environmentally sustainable global farms, with locations on six continents and more than 25 open markets. Brief History
- After D. Gary Young was introduced to the GDV technology, he ordered and utilized the device in his Utah wellness clinic for a number of years in 2001-2006 .
- Gary Young pursued further development of this technology in discussions and meetings with Dr. Sabina DeVita, after he moved his clinic to Ecuador. They both agreed that the essential oils integrated with the GDV technology would be a very helpful tool for YL members. At that point, both Dr. DeVita and Geoffrey Riley facilitated a first meeting of the two men and Mary at the June 2014 YL convention and later again the following year.
- In 2015-2016, both Dr. Korotkov and D. Gary Young (view here about young living) collaborated with their respective companies to help make this VivAlign™ technology available through independent sources to the Young living members.
- Dr. DeVita having utilized GDV technology with the oils for close to 20 years in her clinical practice, was responsible to map out the selections for the GDV/VivAlign™ algorithms. Gary assisted in completing the project with Dr. DeVita, along with Mary's guidance in designing and approving the literature for the project and website.
- Due to U.S. compliance issues, the VivAlign™ scanner was first launched at the Young Living European convention in England in September, 2016.
